Event Information

Friday, Sep 11, 2026 at 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM EDT

The Office of Faculty Development & Online Education is launching FSU’s Online Teaching Certification with Quality Matters’ Designing Your Online Course (DYOC).
This full-day virtual workshop prepares faculty to design effective, well-aligned online courses, with a focus on learning objectives, assessments, instructional materials, and course activities. Participants will also develop a Course Development Plan to support the design or redesign of an online course.
Successful completion of DYOC will satisfy FSU’s Online Teaching Certification requirement. Participants will also earn the Quality Matters DYOC digital credential upon successful completion.
FSU has invested in this professional development opportunity for our faculty, and seating is limited to 25 participants. Because this is a cohort-based certification experience, participants must attend and actively participate for the entire session from 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. to successfully complete the certification.

Cancellation policy

Please contact Office of Faculty Development & Online Education if cancellation is neeeded due to limited availability.
